Many different ministry groups are available for all ages at various times of the year, including day and evening small-group studies. Please use the drop-down menu to learn more about those not listed below.

Adult Sunday School

Presently, NUMC offers three Sunday School classes for adults. Sunday School classes begin at 9:30 a.m. unless otherwise note:

  • Basement Bunch—Meets in Fellowship Hall and is currently studying “Gospel in Life: Grace Changes Everything.”
  • The Upper Room—Meets in Classroom B and is studying the Cokesbury Adult Bible Studies curriculum.
  • The Green Room—Meets in the Green Room and this week is studying “Childrens Books” with Martha Sechler. (Starts at 9 a.m.)

Children’s Sunday School

NUMC also offers two age-based Sunday School classes for children that begin at 9:30 a.m.:

  • Preschool – 1st Grade—Meets in the Nursery and will be talking about families and how God is like a parent that they can trust to care for them.
  • e Nursery

  • 2nd –5th Grade—Meets in God’s Training Center. Using iWitness, they are finding practical ways to witness for Jesus. CrossTrainer.

Other Ministries

Church Library: Located on the lower level, our library houses a variety of children and adult books that are available for check-out.

Scouting Programs: The church sponsors both Boy Scout and Girl Scout programs. Cub Scout Pack 190, Boy Scout Troop 190, and Venture Crew 190 meet at the church on Monday evenings, while the Girl Scouts meet on Thursday evenings.

Village Green Preschool: The Church is home to the oldest preschool in Brown County, a privately run preschool for ages 3-5. Call 988-1360 for more information.
